Intasa SA is a Chile-based company, which is principally engaged in the steel industry, through the operation of two production plants in Argentina: El Talar de Pacheco, located in the province of Buenos Aires, and other plant in Justo Daract, province of San Luis. The Company mainly specializes in the manufacturing, distribution and sale of steel pipes, tube, plates, sheets and other steel products. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned fully consolidated subsidiaries Tubos Argentinos SA and Steel House Do Brasil Ltda. In addition, the Company's majority shareholder was Novacero SA, with 50.93% of its total share capital.
