The First Trust Value Line® Dividend Index UCITS ETF (the ?Fund?) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Value Line® Dividend Index (the ?Index?), and designed to find the highest dividend paying stocks within the universe. The Index is an equal-dollar weighted index comprised of U.S. exchange-listed securities of companies that pay above-average dividends and which Value Line® gives a SafetyTM Ranking of #1 or #2 using the Value Line® SafetyTM Ranking System. As a result, the Index has been designed to seek quality companies, as determined by these safety rankings, that have attractive yields and have exhibited historically low volatility.
