Anderson, CFA MBA, is a Private Wealth Advisor Wealth Management at SVB Wealth LLC.
He oversees SVB Private’s wealth advisory teams in the New England region, ensuring that new and existing clients receive the highest quality wealth management experience.
He is also a member of the SVB Private Wealth’s executive leadership team.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Anderson served as Chief Operating Officer (2018-2019) and as the firm’s first Chief Investment Officer (2011-2018).
Mr. Anderson has been a member of the financial services community since 1990.
Immediately prior to joining SVB Private, he was the head of a global strategy and research for the ETF business at State Street Global Advisors.
Additionally, Mr. Anderson led the investment team for the Charitable Asset Management group at State Street Global Advisors, with responsibility for setting asset allocation strategy and managing charitable-gift portfolios for the firm’s planned giving business.
He is a graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He also earned a Master of Business Administration from SVB College.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA® Institute and the SVB Securities Analysts Society.
