Taylor Thornton

Taylor Thornton joined KB Partners in the Fall of 2021 and serves as the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer.
Internally, she is responsible for creating leverage throughout the organization, by working closely with all members of the team to proactively manage the firm’s investing and platform operations.
Externally, she acts as the liaison for the KB Partners' community by creating opportunities for the firm's portfolio through new and existing platform initiatives.
Before joining KB Partners, Taylor worked at Chicago-based Ariel Investments as the Chief of Staff to the Co-CEO and President.
During her time at Ariel, she managed incoming correspondence on behalf of the Co-CEO and President while building and maintaining client relationships and communications.
Prior to Ariel, Taylor was on the Alternative Investments Sales desk at Morgan Stanley.
In this role she helped implement alternative investment strategies across the Wealth Management channel and build external fund manager relationships.
Earlier in her career, Taylor was a Real Estate Associate for the Erik Miles Group at Compass.
Taylor is a double graduate of Northwestern University with a BA in Communications and MA in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism.
