Sophia Wickel

Ms. Sophia Wickel is a Researcher at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
She as a researcher in ZEW’s Research Department “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”.
In addition, she joined the transregional Collaborative Research Centre “TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), as a member in September 2021.
In 2020, she joined the Taxation Track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) at the University of Mannheim.
Her research particularly focuses on international corporate taxation and tax transparency.
Prior to this, she studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and at Stockholm University in Sweden.
Her major fields of study were business taxation and tax law.
