Mr. Shawn Boire, CFA, is Research Consultant at Versant Partners, Inc. Prior to joining Versant, he started a new innovative North American small and mid-cap fund at Blumont Capital, where the fund performed well relatively against its peers and its benchmark during its mandate.
Before joining BluMont in 2007, Mr. Boire was a research analyst and co-portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, the world’s largest mutual fund company and a leading provider of financial services.
Mr. Boire was promoted to research analyst in early 2002, covering the Canadian energy sector and later assuming coverage of the Technology – Software industry in April 2003.
Prior to joining Fidelity Mr. Boire worked at Bank of Montreal.
Mr. Boire received a bachelor of commerce degree in finance from McGill University in Montreal in 1999.
