East Africa Law Society (EALS) is the regional bar association for the East African Community (EAC), representing both institutional and individual members from national bar associations across member states. The private company is based in Arusha, Tanzania. Established in 1995, EALS serves over 42,000 members and aims to promote regional integration, support cross-border commerce, and advance the legal profession, civil society, business communities, and governments within the region.
