They aim to maintain a low degree of portfolio volatility and a high degree of investment flexibility. For equity portfolios, the firm employs a bottom-up investment strategy that focuses on fundamental analysis and research and seeks to identify specific companies that have above average growth potential. For fixed-income portfolio, Grassi focuses on a total rate of return and seeks to achieve this goal by purchasing debt securities with staggered maturities to take advantage of fluctuating interest rates.
