Pedro Rangel is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Caixa Capital, co-responsible for Private Equity , Venture Capital and Fund of Funds operations.
With more than 20 years of experience in venture capital, development capital and fund of funds, he joined the Caixa Capital team in 2001 as Director of Investments, having since then been responsible for numerous investment and disinvestment operations.
He is a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies and sits on the Advisory Board of several Private Equity funds .
Previously, he held management positions in investment banks, namely in the areas of corporate finance and capital markets.
He was also Assistant Professor in Corporate Finance at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and Nova School of Business and Economics.
He has a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (1996) and a degree in Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics (1993).
