Mr. Hanstead has continued his role as an equities analyst at Tetrem from the same position with Assante Asset Management.
Prior to entering the investment management profession, Murray spent seven years working as an engineer in the mining industry.
In this role, he was involved in the design and operation of a range of base metal and precious metal mines for Teck Cominco and Barrick Gold.
He is a graduate of Queen's University with a degree in Mining Engineering and the University of Manitoba with a Masters of Business Administration.
