Dr. Berbon joined SVB Capital in 2008 from Unilever Technology Ventures.
Prior to joining UTV in 2003, she was a senior scientist at Rockwell Scientific Company where she pursued broad research interests in advanced materials.
Dr. Berbon also has significant experience in business development and venture creation.
Dr. Berbon has a BS (Tsinghua University, China) and a PhD (University of Southern California), both in Materials Science, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business (UCLA).
