Mike Torney

Mr. Michael J.
Torney is Portfolio Advisor at Buckingham Asset Management LLC.
He works with the firm’s wealth advisors to manage client portfolios, conduct retirement and insurance analyses, and direct estate and tax planning strategies.
Before joining Buckingham, Mr. Torney was a client service manager at The Moneta Group in St. Louis.
He also worked as a law clerk with the Investment Protection Bureau of the New York Attorney General’s Office, where he helped enforce that state’s securities laws.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Government from Franklin and Marshall College and his J.D.
from Washington University in St. Louis.
He also holds an LL.M.
in taxation, also from Washington University in St. Louis.
