Michael Rabinowitz

Mr. Michael Rabinowitz is a Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Maxim Group LLC and Maxim Financial Advisors LLC.
His distinguished career in the securities industry spans over three decades.
Under his leadership, Maxim Group has grown into a leading investment banking, securities and investment management firm.
He possesses a solid track record of building and growing successful companies in the financial services industry.
Prior to Maxim Group, Mr. Rabinowitz served as an Executive Vice President at Investec Ernst & Company, an international specialist bank headquartered in South Africa and the U.K.
He was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and supervised the growth and expansion of the Institutional Sales & Trading, Capital Markets and Wealth Management divisions.
Over his four-year tenure at the firm, he orchestrated a series of high-profile acquisitions which tripled the group’s presence in the U.S.
In 2002, he lead a management buyout of certain core assets of the firm which became the foundation of Maxim Group.
From 1988 – 1999, he served as CFO and later as President and CEO of Stuart Coleman & Company, a NYSE member firm which he successfully sold to Investec Ernst & Company in 1999.
He received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College.
