Evelyn Partners utilizes a top-down approach to analyze macroeconomic and political considerations before deciding on the companies in which they want to invest. They may occasionally engage in shareholder activism. Analyst views are distilled into recommended buy and sell lists. The buy list is compiled country by country based on quantitative and qualitative inputs. The sell list is based on adverse changes in company results, structure, management, the economic or trading environment and changes in country weightings or the availability of more attractive holdings.
