Lawrence Lifschultz has been South Asia Correspondent for the Far Eastern Economic Review (Hong Kong).
He has written extensively on European and Asian affairs for The Guardian (UK), Le Monde Diplomatique (Paris), and the BBC, among numerous other journals and newspapers.
He is the author and editor of several books, including Hiroshima's Shadow: Writings on the Denial of History and the Smithsonian Controversy and a work in progress entitled, The Economic Foundations of a Modern Imperium: The Industrial Development of the United States from Civil War to World War.
Lawrence Lifschultz was educated at Yale and Cambridge Universities.
He was a Fellow at Yale University's Center for International and Area Studies from 1998 to 2004.
He is currently completing a book on Kashmir.
