Julia Zhu

Ms. Julia Zhu, CFA, is a Senior Investment Analyst at Ballentine Partners LLC.
Her research is focused on hedge funds and emerging markets.
Her mission is to bring peace and clarity to clients’ financial world.
By deeply understanding clients’ values, visions and special situations.
She utilizes her expertise in investment strategy designing, portfolio management and manager selection to help clients achieve their financial goals.
In addition, Julia also incorporates wealth transfer and tax strategies through clients’ investments across multi-generations.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Ms. Zhu was a Portfolio Management Intern with Wilmington Trust in Boston where she worked closely with portfolio managers and assisted in different aspects of the investment advisory process, including investment research, performance reporting, and investment proposals.
She also worked in Beijing for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate in M&A Tax Services, where she provided tax due diligence, deal restructuring and tax planning services to merger-and-acquisition transactions in diverse industries.
Ms. Zhu received her Master of Science in Finance from Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management.
She also received a Bachelor's degree in Finance with honor from the University of International Business and Economics.
She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
