John Toriello

John Toriello is a Managing Director at General Atlantic and the firm’s Global Head of Portfolio Management and Due Diligence.
John is responsible for monitoring portfolio company fundamental performance, liquidity planning and the due diligence process across all General Atlantic investments, including evaluation of the environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks for new investments.
John also supports portfolio companies on a range of topics including finance effectiveness, capital markets readiness and talent.
Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, John was a Managing Director at Blackstone and held a variety of roles in the corporate finance function, as well as supporting investment professionals and portfolio companies on finance matters.
Prior to Blackstone, John was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising on acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets transactions.
