Guy Newton

Guy is Director, VCaaS at Artesian, and Head of Critical Technology, based in Sydney.
Guy works with VCaaS investors and innovation partners, which includes supporting their strategic investment goals in areas such as climate and sustainability, distributed R&D and innovation requirements close to the core of these large businesses.
Additionally, Guy leads Artesian’s interests in critical technology, which invests in, and supports, technology important to our national interests.
Such areas being energy, environment, space, advanced computing and others.
Guy joined Artesian in 2020 and has a diverse background that includes military leadership, media, adtech, SaaS and several ongoing entrepreneurial projects across e-commerce and software development.
More recently, Guy spent time in Singapore driving a crucial part of Google's business throughout Southeast Asia and was a member of the leadership team looking after the commercial and operations group at the Indonesian tax startup OnlinePajak.
Guy completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New England and his MBA at The Australian Graduate School of Management.
