Fawad Zakariya

Fawad Zakariya joined Advent in 1999.
He was previously with Dillon Read Venture Capital in New York, where he worked on expansion-stage growth investments, served on the boards of two portfolio companies and participated in eight completed transactions.
Before that, he was an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston, executing debt and equity financings and M&A transactions for various clients.
He also worked as a consultant in the communications practice of McKinsey & Co. in the firm's New York office.
Since joining Advent, Fawad has led or participated in numerous investments, including Nauticus Networks Inc., Seranoa Networks Inc., West Ridge Networks Inc. and Entigo Corp.
He received a BA in economics from Haverford College and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
