Douglas Colquhoun

Douglas Colquhoun was appointed Scottish Enterprise’s Chief Financial Officer in April 2020.
Prior to this he was the Director of Finance from 2010.
Douglas leads the Finance and Risk teams within Scottish Enterprise (SE) to ensure that these services are delivered to support the business plan.
This includes effective financial management, including the utilisation of European funding, and the development of SE’s risk management policies and processes.
He is responsible for the production of SE’s Annual Report and Accounts and leads on the preparation of the budget that supports the business plan.
Douglas also has interim responsibility for SE’s technology division.
Douglas is a qualified accountant and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
He has been with Scottish Enterprise and its predecessor organisation since 1987.
