Profile
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2010, Mr. Friedman was Executive Vice President/National Director for Jones Lang LaSalle where he developed a national asset management, investment and development advisory practice.
He was also Senior Vice President with Starwood Capital Group, where he oversaw northeast real estate asset management and development, and prior to that was Regional Vice President of Louis Dreyfus Property Group, where he supervised all Northeast real estate activities.
Over the course of his more than 25 year career, he has been involved in the acquisition, asset management, development, leasing and property management of over 15 million square feet of commercial space and 6,500 residential units.
Mr. Friedman received a B.A. from the University of Rochester in 1981 and a J.D.
from Pace University School of Law in 1984, is a licensed commercial real estate broker in New York and Connecticut, and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
