Chris Bucknall

Chris Bucknall is Chief Executive Officer of Compass Group Plc and Director of the Selecta Group.
Mr. Bucknall was a Director of Galliford Try Plc until November 7, 2008.
Prior to that, he joined Compass Group as Chief Executive of Granada Purchasing Ltd. in 1997.
Previously, Mr. Bucknall held various positions at Compass Group from 1986 to 1987.
He rejoined the company in 1991 as an Executive and left the company in 1997 and again he joined the Group as its Chief Executive in 2000.
He started his career at Tizer Limited as a Trainee Manager.
After that, he moved to Coca Cola in 1973 and held various positions before becoming Director of Operations in 1984.
Mr. Bucknall joined Rosser & Russell as Managing Director in 1986.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Liverpool University in 1971.
