Catalin Rasvan Radu

Mr. Catalin Rasvan Radu is Chief Executive Officer at UniCredit Tiriac Bank SA. He is also Executive Vice President and member of the International Advisory Board of UniCredit Group.
He was nominated as the Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit Romania in 2005 and has been the CEO of UniCredit Tiriac Bank since 2007.
Mr. Radu is a member of the Management Board of Aspen Institute Romania, former Chairman of the Business Advisory Commission of the Prime Minister of Romania and, since 2010, he has been a member of the Trilateral Commission.
His banking experience started in 1991 within Romanian Commercial Bank, taking on various responsibilities and coordinating Corporate Finance and Capital Markets areas.
In 2000 he was appointed Executive Vice-President of Romanian Savings Bank and in 2001 he became the Retail Executive Vice-President of Raiffeisen Bank in Romania.
Mr. Radu has an engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and an economy degree from Romanian American University - Bucharest.
He also graduated from an MBA program with the Romanian branch of Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers Paris and completed the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.
