Mr. Brad Elberg is Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at Byron Capital Markets Since October 2011.
Prior to that, he had a successful career as a partner in the Bay Street office of a leading international law firm.
Before becoming a lawyer, he made his mark as a university athlete and then as a professional athlete.
He played football and ran track at Queen’s University.
He was the captain of the Queen’s football team that won the National Championship in 1992.
In 2005, he was inducted into the Queen’s U.
Football Hall of Fame.
he played in the Canadian Football League for nine years and was a captain of the Toronto Argonauts in 2001.
He was also a member of Canada’s Olympic bobsleigh team in 1992 and 1993.
Mr. Elberg received a BA from Queen’s University in 1993 and a LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from Queen’s University in 2001.
