In 2011, Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life brought together three Canadian investment management subsidiaries under the umbrella of a new Canadian investment management subsidiary, GLC Asset Management Group Ltd. In 2012, Portico Investment Management was established as GLC's fixed income investment management division.
