Mr. Ali M.
Lumsden is Chief Investment Officer at CQS (UK) LLP.
He is responsible in development and execution of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) strategies with a particular focus on investing in US MBS and Home Equity Loans (HEL).
Before CQS, he was responsible in the asset management desk of Rabobank’s Vehicle Management Group and was a founding member of the management team responsible in the launching of Rabobank’s Tango structured investment vehicle.
Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager at Abbey National Treasury Services joined in as a graduate trainee in 1993.
Mr. Lumsden holds BSc in Business & Management Studies from University of Bradford.
