Mr. Adam M.
Shane, CFA MBA, is a Portfolio Manager at Northern Trust Investments, Inc. He is also the Head of Municipal Bond Portfolio Management at Northern Trust Asset Management.
He co-manages numerous tax exempt fixed income funds.
Previously, Mr. Shane was Director of High Yield Municipal Fixed Income and Director of Fixed Income Research.
He led a team of corporate, financial, municipal, and sovereign analysts in Chicago, London, and Bangalore, providing fundamental credit research in support of firm's fixed income capabilities.
Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2010, Mr. Shane was a Senior Research Analyst at Nuveen Investments.
He earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s in History from Williams College.
He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Society Chicago, the CFA Institute, the Chicago Municipal Analysts Society and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
