ZhongAn online P & C Insurance Co., Ltd. at its AGM held on June 20, 2025, approved the election of Mr. Hongjun Zhong as an independent non-executive director of the Company to hold office until the expiry of the term of the fifth session of the board of directors. Mr. Hongjun Zhong, aged 54, is the proposed independent Director of ZhongAn online P & C Insurance Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhong holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Jiangxi Normal University, a master's degree in Quantitative Econometrics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a doctoral degree in Economics from Oxford University. Mr. Zhong is currently the executive director of Qiantang Institute of Enterprise and Innovation (in preparation), the external supervisor of Bank of Xi'an Co., Ltd., an independent director of Hongbo Co., Ltd., an independent director of Wanxiang Trust Co., Ltd., and an independent director of Zhejiang Tucson Custom Home Furnishing Inc. Mr. Zhong previously served as a research assistant at the Institute of Business Administration, Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, an ESRC postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University, and a faculty member at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
