UniCredit said it has withdrawn parts of its appeal to the European Court of Justice against the European Central Bank's request to reduce its exposure in Russia.

In a statement published on its website, UniCredit said it has withdrawn "certain parts of its appeal on which clarity has been obtained" from the ECB.

"A number of points still remain that require a ruling by the European Court of Justice, but on which UniCredit is open to constructive dialogue with the ECB, in the hope of a resolution," UniCredit specified.
