UniCredit purchased more than 9.5 million of its own shares

(Alliance News) - UniCredit on Tuesday reported that -- in the days from Aug. 5 to Aug. 9 -- it purchased more than 9.5 million of its own shares.

The weighted average price was EUR33.62 per share, totaling about EUR321 million.

UniCredit closed Monday's session in the green by 0.4 percent at EUR34.57 per share.
