Dick's Sporting Goods created a new partnership with Uber Technologies and renewed an existing one with Affirm Holdings.

Coraopolis, Penn.-based Dick's said Thursday that customers can use Uber Eats to purchase products from over 800 of its Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy stores starting this week.

"We believe that speed and convenience is key to our omni-channel experience, and we're excited to launch our partnership with Uber Eats as an extension of that philosophy," said Scott Casciato, vice president of Omni-channel Fulfillment and Strategy at Dick's.

Dick's and payment network Affirm Holdings also renewed their partnership, which began in 2020. Dick's said Affirm services--which include splitting purchases into biweekly or monthly payments up to 36 months--are now integrated directly into its online checkout process.

Dick's posted net sales of $3.18 billion for the first quarter ended May 3, a 5.2% increase from prior-year period.
