Strike Energy Limited announced that Mr. Justin Ferravant has stepped down from the role of Chief Financial Officer following a determination by the Board that the role of Chief Financial Officer is to be performed in Perth on a permanent basis. Mr. Ferravant remained in Adelaide following the re-headquartering of the Strike head office to Perth in 2021. The Board announced the appointment of Tim Cooper as Chief Financial Officer effective May 6, 2025.
Mr. Ferravant will remain with Strike until May 31, 2025, to assist with an orderly transition of the roles to Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper has over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of delivery of development projects, including early-stage development projects, which is complemented by his underlying and end-to-end financial management experience. Mr. Cooper has created, transformed, and matured financial capabilities within organizations with full responsibility for statutory, financial, and management accounting as a CFO and across geographies.
Prior to joining Strike, Mr. Cooper held senior commercial and finance roles in Quadrant Energy, Advanced Personnel Management, and Fortescue. Mr. Cooper is a Certified Practicing Accountant, CPA Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Financial Accounting, and Marketing from the University of Western Australia.
