The technology company Observit's main shareholder SpectrumOne proposes that Tomas Jönsson is appointed new chairman of the board of the company. At the same time, a proposal for an incentive program is also presented. This is stated in a press release.

The proposals are described as part of Observit's long-term strategy to become the world's leading supplier of mobile video surveillance in the transportation industry.

Jönsson has a previous background at Autoliv spin-off Veoneer where he was Head of Communications and IR. Veoneer is active in software and hardware for automation and safety in vehicles.

"Now is the right time to hand over to a new chairman who can help take Observit to the next level. Thomas' many years of experience in driving transformation in technology-driven companies and his ability to lead and collaborate make him the right person for this work", says Fredric Forsman, outgoing Chairman of Observit.

As for the incentive program, it is aimed at the board and management. A total of 70 million shares are offered, with an exercise price of SEK 1.20 each and a subscription period of three years.
A notice to the Extraordinary General Meeting will be presented shortly.
