Shinko Shoji Co., Ltd. (TSE:8141) agreed to acquire Shimizu Syntec Corporation from NEC Corporation (TSE:6701) for ¥5.2 billion on May 30, 2025. As part of consideration, ¥5.18 billion is paid towards common equity of Shimizu Syntec Corporation.
For the period ending March 31, 2025, Shimizu Syntec Corporation reported total revenue of ¥9.91 billion, EBIT of ¥579 million and net income of ¥393 million. As of March 31, 2025, Shimizu Syntec Corporation reported total assets of ¥8.31 billion and total common equity of ¥3.77 billion.
The expected completion of the transaction is June 30, 2025.
