(Alliance News) - Seco Spa announced Thursday the integration of its Clea software suite into the Raspberry Pi OS operating system, in a strategic collaboration with Raspberry Pi that began in November 2024.
Users can now access Clea through a simplified native configuration process, enabling rapid development and scalability of solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
The project strengthens Seco's position in the data-driven IoT market and in the field of Edge AI, making Clea even more accessible to customers and partners worldwide.
With over 60 million units sold, Raspberry Pi is one of the most widely used hardware platforms globally.
The synergy between the two companies enables industrial developers to accelerate time-to-market and facilitate the transition from prototyping to implementation.
Fausto Di Segni, European head of IoT and AI at Seco, said: "This new way for Raspberry Pi users to access Clea removes friction in the development of IIoT solutions and paves the way for a faster transition to scalable, production-ready solutions.
"We are excited to support our industrial partners in transforming their projects into real-world implementations."
Seco's share price rose 1.2% to EUR2.16 per share.
