Samsung Heavy Industries Co Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in shipbuilding business. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Shipbuilding and Marine Business segment constructs and sells ultra-large container ships, liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, crude oil tankers, LNG floating production, storage and offloading (LNG-FPSO) units, floating production units (FPU) and other vessels and offshore platforms. The Civil Engineering Business segment engages in civil engineering and construction projects as well as high-tech construction. The Company sells its products in domestic and overseas markets.
