Rolls-Royce has announced that it will invest $75m to expand its Series 4000 engine plant in Aiken, South Carolina, creating 60 additional jobs and bringing the total workforce to 434 employees.
The project, supported by state-approved development credits, aims to strengthen machining capabilities and meet strong demand for data center generators. Adam Wood, general manager of the Power Systems division for the Americas, emphasizes that this investment strengthens its ability to serve its US customers with shorter lead times.
This development comes amid strong growth in the critical infrastructure market in the United States.
