Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC is a United Kingdom-based investment company. The Companyâs objective is to invest in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan) and in the Indian Sub-continent in order to achieve capital growth. Its purpose is to conduct business as an investment trust, investing its assets in accordance with its investment objective, in order to achieve capital growth for shareholders. It aims to achieve capital growth principally through investment in companies listed on the stock markets of the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan) and the Indian Sub-continent. It also invests in other pooled vehicles (general, country and sector specific) that invest in the markets of the region. The Company invests in sectors, including consumer discretionary, communication services, consumer staples, energy, financials, healthcare, industrials, information technology, materials and real estate. The Companyâs alternative investment fund manager is Baillie Gifford & Co Limited.
