News Corp, the parent company of Dow Jones, HarperCollins and Foxtel among others, reported Thursday evening adjusted EPS of 17 cents for the last three months of its 2023-24 fiscal year, compared with 14 cents for the same period last year.

EBITDA from the information group's segments rose by 11% to $380 million, supported mainly by strong contributions from the book publishing segment and its subsidiary REA Group, on revenues up 6% to $2.58 billion.

The strength of our main growth pillars - book publishing, online real estate services and Dow Jones - which inspired the increased profitability, bodes well for the 2024-25 financial year", says CEO Robert Thomson.
