LVMH: R&D partnership with Integrated Biosciences
Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Integrated Biosciences will be responsible for identifying new chemical compounds to combat the effects of aging on a molecular scale.
In a press release, Integrated Biosciences explains that it intends to use its AI-based platform and synthetic biology technology to devise potential beauty products to keep skin looking young.
Using its proprietary machine learning process, the company founded by former researchers from MIT, Harvard and UC Santa Barbara plans to virtually test hundreds of thousands of molecules that could play a role in modulating longevity-related phenotypes.
Based on its discoveries, Integrated Biosciences could receive a number of undisclosed payments, not including those relating to potential commercial milestones, the terms of which have again been kept secret.
