Lotte Chemical Corp is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the basic chemical business. The company operates through four segments. The Basic Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of ethylene, propylene, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), purity isophthalic acid (PIA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG). The High-Tech Material segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of high-tech materials such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), artificial marble and engineered stone. The High-Tech Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of precision chemicals such as ammonia, chlorine, and cellulose. The Battery Material segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of battery materials such as electropoil. In addition, the Company runs the real estate rental business.
