Norwegian fish farming company Lerøy Seafood had a harvest volume of 38,200 tons, GWT, in the first quarter, compared to 26,400 tons in the same quarter last year. The figures exclude the fish farms in Scotland.

The Bloomberg estimate was for a slaughter volume of 34 133 tons.

Slaughter volume per region/company for the first quarter, measured in thousands of GWT, was as follows: Lerøy Aurora: 7.1 (6.0), Lerøy Midt: 16.4 (13.7), and Lerøy Sjøtroll: 14.8 of which 9.5 were trout (6.7 of which 3.3 were trout)
