Intel said Tuesday that Stellantis Motorsport has selected it to be a key technology partner and would use its new processing unit, ACU U310, for controlling electric motors and recovering energy during braking phases.

The ACU chip is designed for electric-vehicle power trains and zonal controller applications, the company said.
