ING reports that, as part of its two-billion-euro share buyback program, a total of almost 5.72 million shares were repurchased last week at an average price of 14.53 euros, for a total consideration of almost 83.1 million euros.
This brings the total number of shares bought back by the Dutch bank to date to over 28.6 million, for a total consideration of around 430.6 million euros, or 21.5% of the maximum total value of the program announced on October 31.
