The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the creation of a joint venture by EVH Grüne Energie - Beteiligung GmbH & Co. KG and HSBC Alternative Investments S.C.A. SICAV-RAIF (HSBC Alternative Investments).

The transaction concerns the development and operation of a solar park in Merbitz, Germany.

The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given the negligible activities of the joint venture in the European Economic Area.
