GXO Logistics has hired veteran DHL executive Patrick Kelleher to succeed Malcolm Wilson as chief executive of the contract logistics provider, effective Aug. 19.

GXO on Friday said Kelleher, who joined Deutsche Post's DHL unit in 1992, most recently served as DHL Supply Chain's CEO for North America.

GXO late last year said Wilson, who has been at the helm of the Greenwich, Conn., company since August 2021, was planning to retire in 2025.
