FTSE SMALL CAP - WINNERS

Eems Italia rises 6.7 percent and records the sharpest rise in the basket of small-cap companies, with shares rising to EUR0.1856.

Eurotech does well, up 6.1%, taking shares to EUR1.12 each.

FTSE SMALL CAP - LOSERS

Bioera gives up 7.8%. The stock has been flat over the last month, gained 52% over the last six months, and lost 31% over the last year.

EPH gives up 7.5 percent, with shares remaining well below one cent each.
