Ericsson: new head of North-East Asia

Ericsson announces the appointment of Chafic Nassif to the position of Head of North-East Asia Market Area and Senior Vice President, succeeding Chris Houghton who was appointed COO of the Group last November.

Chafic Nassif is currently Head of Customer Unit for North Latin America, within the Europe and Latin America Market Area. Previously, he was in charge of the customer unit in Taiwan.

He will take up his new position on February 26, based in Japan. Reporting directly to CEO Börje Ekholm, he will join the Swedish telecom equipment supplier's executive team.
