Plenitude announces that it has increased its installed renewable energy capacity in Spain to almost 950 MW by 2024, doubling its capacity compared with 2023.
This growth includes the completion of 150 MW in the Caparacena project in Granada and 250 MW in the Renopool (Extremadura) and Guillena (Andalusia) solar farms.
The company, an Eni subsidiary, has also reached 4 GW of installed renewable energy capacity worldwide, and has a portfolio of additional projects in Spain totaling 820 MW, expected between 2025 and 2026.
Plenitude is targeting a global capacity of 8 GW by 2027.
