Olympique Lyonnais has announced the definitive transfer of striker Jeffinho to Brazilian club Botafogo, another member of the Eagle Football group, for the sum of 5.3 million euros, plus a 30% profit-share on any future transfer.

After joining OL in January 2023, Jeffinho made 21 appearances for the club before being loaned out to Botafogo for a year in December 2023. He played an active role in the Carioca club's historic league and Copa Libertadores double.

Organised around Olympique Lyonnais, the football club founded in 1950, Eagle Football Group (formerly OL Groupe) has become a leader in the entertainment and media sector in France.
